Has anyone come across or know if the error code 2162-0002?

This error is stopping the switch boot, it was working but now just gives this error code 2162-0002. Its not joy con related have ruled that out.

Found the problem in the end was being trolled by 2 broken pins that gave out in the end.

@zerocool278 I see you posted the cause of the problem, but did you find a solution to fix it?

I'm thinking of purchasing a spares/repairs switch on ebay with this same error code (2162-0002) and was wondering if the issue is actually repairable.

yes I just replace the daughter board the connector plugs into.

I believe that's the cartridge slot daughterboard

M92T36 control IC fault gives this code. I replaced IC with no more error.

1) Make sure both the console and Joy-Cons are fully charged to rule that possible cause out

2) Setup the docking station to a TV

3) Make sure the Switch is completely off with the Joy-Cons attached

4) In Tablet Mode, turn on the Switch, when the screen displays the red background with the Switch logo dock the Switch

5) From there it should display the setup process and you should be able to go through it and complete it

6) Update any Joy-Cons/Controllers and the console to the most up-to-date version

only theory on why it kept displaying the error is that the firmware

versions were either not compatible with each other between Joy-Cons and

console or that the Joy-Con

Change M92T36 control IC. I had the same error keep popping up. Replacing this chip fixed the error. No problems since.
