Picture isn't centered after screen replacement

I replaced a screen on this ipad. everything went great. I installed the EMI shield and used the adhesive. Now the picture is about 4 inches lower than it should be. Like when it somes on the apple logo is too low. The lock screen is lower. There’s a black band that’s about 4 inches thick, then the lock screen.

I don’t mean that the screen is blacked out, I mean it’s lower.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Looks like your replacement screen is defective, remove and try the old screen if it’s still around.

I doubt you can claim for warranty since it’s already installed and sealed, but if you bought from vendors like iFixit or MobileSentrix who stand behind their products, they should be able to send you another replacement or refund… just make sure you always test the screen first before adhering to chassis.
