I opens my Polaroid to see what was going on and two pieces fell off

I opens my Polaroid to see what was going on and two pieces fell off as I was opening it. There is the black piece that has one hole and it is more square and has a box on top of it too. The other piece is a small piece of metal; it’s long and thin and have two holes on each ends. Both of them are about the same size. I have no idea where to put it so I just closed it back up and my camera works but I can’t change the settings.
