Anybody know what this chip is

Anybody know what this chip is. Its getting super hot on the motherboard and i’m wondering what it does. Its the one with the writing on it, Thanks.

Thanks found it on eBay hope this will fix it. The iPad is burning on that spot. One question I have is would a backlight coil make the iPad not want to turn on and not connect to iTunes.

@gavingamer123 I don't think so, your iPad should turn on and be detected connecting to iTunes even with a bad backlight coil, it will have a very dim display - you have to shine a flashlight to view the screen.

The iPad won’t turn on. I though it was the battery buts it’s voltage is 4v. When you plug it into the wall the coil heats up to almost untouchable temps.

That is not a Chip is a big Coil
