iPhone 8 logicboard hot and wont turn on

I fell asleep on facetime one night with my phone off the charger, woke up the next morning to it scorching hot. I put it in the freezer to cooldown (yes ik thats dumb of me) and ever since then it hasnt been hot. It just wont turn on. I got a new battery, put the new battery on top of the old one to see if that was the issue and it wasnt, the new battery makes the logicboard turn hot aswell. Any clues on what I should do? I literally havent had this phone for a month yet

Options

You have already done all you can by replacing the battery. If you haven’t got all the equipment and skills to diagnose the fault you will have to take it to a reputable repair shop.

You are best to tell them the problem not what you think the solution will be. A good repairer will start by ruling out parts and then moving on to the logic board. They will most likely connect a tristar tester to check the charging circuit then hook it up to a DC power supply. The DC power supply will tell them what step to take next.
