When i turn on my tv, the sound from the playstation will work but there is no picture or display. can anyone point me in the right direction. it worked fine the night before last.

Sydney Chandler try another input source. As a matter of fact, try all different ones. You said you can see it with a flashlight but not without? If so, then this is mainly a backlight issue. You’ll have to take the back cover of your TV and have a look at the voltages from your power board to the backlight LED’s as well as the main board. We would need to know your TV’s exact model and possibly see the boards etc. Once you remove the back cover post some good pictures of your boards etc. with your QUESTION. I have a 70 in ONN , you can't see it with a flashlight and there is a volume but cannot see the screen.

@williamsye depends on your exact model. could be a bad T-con board, bad main board or worst case a bad panel.
