iPad keeps restarting after 2 minutes. Replaced screen.

Hi.

Got a customer that changed the screen on his iPad by him self. The replacement went approximately ok, but the iPad keeps restarting every 2 minutes and 30 seconds.

He told me that he did not separate the logic board from the battery connector when he disconnected the old screen and connected the new screen…

When he connects the old screen again, the iPad do not restart every 2 min…

It´s an original screen.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

I would try a different screen. All 3rd party apple screens can cause the device to do erratic things such as this one. I’ve come across this issue a few times when replacing screens and it seems to always fix the issue.

I have exactly the same problem with my ipad pro 10.5.Change the original broken screen with a 3rd party screen but forget to disconnect the battery first so when i placed the new one the ipad restarts every 2-3 minutes. When i put the broken screen everything is ok.Now i have ordered a new screen and cross my fingers to fix the problem..
