Why it turns off when unplugged?

All of a sudden, the MacBook turns off when unplugged from the power adapter, the battery is charging.

I did the SMC reset many times with no help.

I downloaded coconut to check the battery and found this

So it gave me a fair idea that the battery is fine.


I ‘d really appreciate your help.

Since you have a recognized battery that shows as being in “good” condition, you probably have a faulty board that can no longer get power from battery. All the rest seems to be working fine, including taking charge. That means there’s not much we could help you with, except suggesting a logic board replacement or a repair, if you have somebody in your area doing component level repairs on Macs.
