Digitizer unresponsive, is a reflow necessary?

This ipod had slight water exposure. There is no corrosion on the main board or on contacts. It was thoroughly cleaned.

For about 4 seconds after I put it all back together after soaking the logic board, I had a weak response from the digitizer. Then it died, and I cant seem to get it to work no matter what I do, and I know the digitizer works.

I think it might be the wifi flex cable or the digitizer board component but I don't think I am capable of replacing either myself. Since I had it working briefly, I think it should be easily fixable. Any ideas?
