Why my new batteries lose the charge quickly?

I can take only about 5 to 10 shots with my new batteries. Then I should charge it again. It's happening the same every time that I use the camera.

Mine too, Best guess is shorted capacitors in power supply section of main board. Mine was drawing 250mA when off. Very annoying solution is to remove batteries unless you are actually photographing something. When possible replace the caps... I have yet to have the time to do this myself.

Batteries shoud be at least 750 mAh to have a medium endurance.

Check if the charger is working properly with a voltage tester.

If the batteries are not originals, that should be the problem.

Replace with an original one.

If you use the flash and the maximum resolution, probably you're spending too much energy on this.

Hello, I use this camera more time. Last 1 year my Sony recognized battery charge not correct. When I buy new batteries, or charge my Sony CycleEnergy 2000mAh batteries my photo work super less time for 10-20 photo. 2-3 years ago I can use it more time for 100-150 photos. Maybe it is power controller bug? How to fix it?
