HDD thermal sensor connector doesn't fit seagate barracuda drive, opti

the thermal connector in my 27 inch iMac for the original WD 1 TB drive has a 6 pin connector while my new seagate drive only has a single row of pins and the connector doesn't fit. any suggestions?
