Battery is replaced but still have some questions?

I just painstakingly replaced my battery in my iPod classic 160gb. It works now but seems to have some charging issues, not sure what that’s related to. It charges but when I disconnect after 4 hours charging, still shows about 35% charged, no more. Is there something I did wrong in the replacement or in restarting it? HELP!

Answer this question I have this problem too

@eldestroyo nope does not sound like anything you did. It is possible that this is a bad battery but it is also possible that you are running into issues with the battery. connector. Keep in mind that this connector has a tendency of easily breaking of the logic board. You may want to carefully inspect it. I use an L-shaped paperclip whenever I pull up on the locking mechanism of the connector. I find that by using any other tool I would always push the connector sideways and thus running greater chance of breaking it.
