Tv popped, sparked, sound but no picture

Any ideas for repair or should I replace tv? Took off back panel and found burnt part - don’t know what it’s called. You can see the blue back cap burnt off to the upper right of white vertical piece.

Garth Meadows  you need to let us know the exact model for your TV. Also add a picture of the complete board since it may be possible that we have the schematic for it somewhere. Ultimately , yes your capacitor is toast. Question now would be why. When you take some new pictures also include to bottom side. Those are through the hole boards and anyone with some soldering experience can replace the components. No reason to replace the TV. Worst case scenario here would be a board replacement

I’m no electrician but that looks like a blown capacitor to me. Fortunately it seems like a pretty spacious PCB board, so maybe a local electrician or electrical engineer could solder on another identical capacitor for you, which shouldn’t cost more than $5 for the capacitor.
