Cannot shut vr dream vision pro phone caddy. It acts like my phone is too big. How do I get the caddy to shut?

The DuraForce PRO is a Verizon rugged smart phone that is built to be water/dust proof and screen shatter proof. This phone also has a removable battery (note that removal of battery will void the warranty) and many other parts.
