Have you tried a different USB cable?
Have you tried a different USB port on the PC or even a different PC?
Visually inspect the phone’s USB port using a magnifying glass and a strong light to ensure that there is no debris in the port enclosure preventing a good connection and that all the pins (5) are there and that they are all straight and parallel with each other and not bent, damaged or missing.
Does the phone show that it is charging when connected to the PC’s USB port?
Do you get any USB options notifications on the phone when you connect to a PC?
e.g. USB Connection Options:
Charging Only: Charges the device only
Media Device (MTP): Transfer media files
Camera (PTP): Transfer photos
USB Storage: USB Transfer Pro
If so ensure that Charging Only is NOT the selected option
Has it worked before when connecting to the PC? If not has the PC got the appropriate Vivo USB drivers installed (there may be others, you didn’t state the model number)?
