PhoneSuit Elite 6 Battery Case for iPhone 6 - not charging the phone

The device will accept a charge from power supply, it indicates full charge, but the battery will not charge the inserted phone. How to fix?

I fixed this issue by replacing the lightning connector that attaches to the iPhone 6. I will post step by step and photos later.
