The OSX (Lion ) do not detect the hardware.

Hello:

I have received the solicited optical reader 12,7 mm PAW 8x SuperDrive OEM, for my iMac EMC 2210. The previous one had gotten bogged down with a DVD inside. I have substituted it for the new one, but it does not work to me, the OSX (Lion ) do not detect the hardware. I have checked everything, according to your manuals. I do not know that it can be happening.

Options

Insert your original system installation disk and try starting up holding down the "C" key. Please let us know your results.
