PS4 controlled dead when touch pad is connected

Hi I’ve been trying for past week to get my PS4 DualShock 4 touch pad to work but no luck so far I went ahead and purchased a new ribbon wire for the touch pad but that didn’t work neither , my controller seems completely dead when I plug in the touch pad ribbon to the main circuit board , so to use the controller I have to keep the touch pad disconnected at all times and I’ve searched web and YouTube what the fix might never but I haven’t found nothing
