Phone will only charge in ultra power saving mode

I dont really understand what is going on with my phone. It was charging fine one minute, I unplugged it for a second, plugged it back and and noticed the battery percentage wasnt going up even though it said it was charging. I tried to charge it when it was turned off and the same thing, signifies its charging but battery is not changing.

The only way it will charge is through ultra power saving mode.

Ive tried different cables, plugs and using safe mode.

Any idea?

Hi Tez,

with regard to the following post, it may be an only software issue. It’s a solution for another Samsung model, but the principle is the same. If you haven’t solved this issue, it may be a hardware issue - your battery may be corrupted.
