I'm getting an iPhone 8 in about 4 days and I bought the case and screen protector ahead of time. The home button gap on the screen protector looks kinda small, I want to be sure I got the right stuff, as it is from eBay. The only iPhone in my house for comparison is an iPhone 5c. Does anyone know if both the iPhone 8 and 5c have the same home button size?

The iPhone 8 screen protector is compatible with the iPhone 6, 6S, and 7 models. If you purchased a screen protector for any one of these models, then it will work on your iPhone. Cases are a different story, as Apple changes the position and size of the side buttons and/or rear camera between generations.
