Can I restore iPhone 8 plus without the home button

i have an iphone 8 plus but the home button is broken. Would i have a problem with restoring it from backup? Would it ask me to press the home button to start/finish the restore.

Please do not suggest to get the home button fix.

Options

The home button is not required during any step of the restoration process, but good luck getting it to do anything after without the home button.
