not video signal on iMac's LCD
Hi. I have got a 2309 iMar 27” late 2009. The iMac’s video card was broken. When I turned on the mac, the chime was heard, the screen lit up a bit, but nothing else happened even using an external monitor
Setp 1: Well, I changed video card, I turned on the iMac, chime was heard, the screen lit up a bit and I had video signal on external monitor, but not video signal on iMac’s LCD.
I was thinking that inverter was broken or a wire was bad connected. It was more easy to check wire connections but I do that without turning off the iMac and the vflex touched power supply and broke it (It was my fault, I should have rurned off the iMac).
Well, I changed power supply and I have got video signal on external monitor only and I was in step 1 again, then I changed inverter but nothing new happened.
I’m thinking that vflex wire brought electricity to the LCD and broke it, but I'm not sure why the iMac detects the LCD. In that case, it is any way to check LCD?
Maybe the LCD is broken.
any ideas?
Is this a good question?
