The name of pins/plugs for northbridge/southbridge heatsinks

I’m in need of the name for the pins/plugs that are used to hold the heatsinks for the northbridge and southbridge in place. I at first assumed they would be named a plug (similar purpose to what a masonry/plasterboard wall plug are used for), but as we are referring to electronics, the term ‘plug’ are predominantly referring to something completely different, therefore haven’t found what I was after on a quick google search.

I recently stumbled across my stored computer components, and found a motherboard that is still pristine and never used (Gigabyte EP41-UD3L LGA775). I was going to use it to diagnose a problem I had about 8-10 years ago. Found a solution before having to use it so stayed in the package for all this time.

Anyway I was going through the contents of the box today, and noticed that one of the pins/plugs had snapped on the Northbridge, so the heatsink would not be sitting properly on the on it; this would probably cause runaway heat issues.
