LCD cable is partially sliced... any help?

My phone is unresponsive on the screen, but the home button and Power button still work fine. My problem is the cord/cable that connects to the top of the screen above the motherboard is sliced. I'm not entirely sure what it is called but is it replaceable? And can someone give me the exact name of the cable?

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

If you can post a picture of what exactly is sliced you may get a straight and useful answer ;)

You would need a new screen.

But all the screens I look at don't have a home button with it and also, a completely new screen for a simple cord that broke?

There are two cables coming from the bottom area of the screen that connect to the phone. If any one of them is damaged the screen needs to be replaced. Those cables aren't replaceable.
