My cocktail spilled over my MacBook air

Last night i got my cocktail spilled over my macbook air 2017, it got off immediately. With all tensed mind i didn't know what to do and i slept leaving macbook closed on a wooden surface and after 7 hours of sleep i tried turning it on and it's working as usual. Should i get it to a store for basic check ups?
