I installed a new vibrator but its not vibrating

i took apart my iphone 3gs replaced the vibrator but when i use vibrate it wont work. however when i squeeze the sided of my iphone hard it works.

whats wrong?

Thanks man, cleane the logic board connecter and it works

But the bibrate aint as strong cuz i got a generic part probally.

Options

The contacts on the vibrator motor or the logic board are probably dirty or not completely touching. Open up your iPhone again, clean the contacts with a dry cotton swab, and try again. Cheers.
