1215A Controller connectivity issues after HDMI port replacement

I just replaced the HDMI port on my PS4 1215A. The repair went well and was successful, but I put a lot of heat into the board (the port took much longer to remove than it should have). Now, the system boots up fine, but the controllers only work intermittently, both via Bluetooth and USB. Sometimes the controller won't connect, sometimes it will connect and work normally for a few minutes before ultimately disconnecting or lagging and causing phantom input. Have tried resetting controllers as well as a hard reboot of the system.

I'm not even sure where to begin looking for what I may have damaged, and googling has proved very unhelpful. Any help would be massively appreciated!

That would remind me of the WiFi chip but it's not even near the hdmi port. What temp did you use to remove/replace the port.

You sure? Some models have the BT/Wifi chip combo right near the HDMI port under a metal shield.

Some extreme long period of heat can cause that chip to overheat or develop loose solder balls under that BGA chip.

I'm sure. The WiFi chip is closer to the other edge of the board.
