Why can I hear my tv but I have no picture

My TV has no picture but it has the sound and the screen is completely black with a crack and little lines why can I not see the picture now but I can hear all the sounds

The crack tell me that the LCD in it is gone

Did it get a fall??

Once the LCD goes in a TV in my view they are not worth repairing

Would cost more then the TV is worth

It didn’t fall it got tapped the picture was there then it went black but still had the sound

Jasmine Brown just like @kingdasher is suspecting, this sounds like a broken LCD. Post some pictures of what it looks like with your question so we can verify. Adding images to an existing question

If it is indeed a broken LCD then it'll be very difficult to find a replacement and even if you do it will most likely be more than a new TV.

Ay, sorry Jasmine Brown. That is definitely a broken LCD. No repair possible. It would require a replacement. Now how far do you want to go with it? If you want to go all out and see if you can tackle it, let us know. First step would be to replace the back from your TV and check the label that is glued to the LCD panel. Let us know what that number is.
