Screen (bottom right) gets little dark after replacing the lcd

Hello everyone, I just replaced the LCD for iPhone 7 Plus and tested. When I turned on, the screen (right bottom side) got dark…what are the potential reasons for this…?

i don’t think I damaged any parts while replacing and I have never had this issue before while working on other phones.

Just in case, I used an extra LCD screen for this but the result was the same…so I don’t think it’s because of the bad lcd screen…

thank you for your time!

Answer this question I have this problem too

I don’t think that display connector is the issue as I tried 3 new lcd and all of them showed the same problem. But I have no idea if the board has the issue or not..

did you check them ?? You are putting all the screens on the same connector so if ?? the connector was damaged in some way then all the screens would ack the same??

check first dirt/debris in the connectors. if everything is clean and no damage it may be a board issue. test with the original screen if you can and see if it happens. if original screen lcd was damaged/non functional then it may be safe to say it’s a board issue, though you could probably try 1 more screen just to be safe.

Thank you for your advise. The original lcd is damaged bad and cracked. Basically I can’t see anything from the original one. I posted the picture of the connector on the board just in case here. Could you see if any damages? I don’t really see any dirt or debris..
