Jeep won't turn over

The gauges, radio, and windshield wipers don't work. The headlights, horn, and dome light work. The engine won't crank, not even with booster cables. The bridge starter just turns; it won't crank

Gail, exactly what vehicle do you have? Year and model would be good to know.

Sounds like it could be an engine computer (ECU) problem. I had similar symptoms with my Saturn Ion, and it ended up being the ECU. Things like the horn and headlights aren't controlled by the ECU, which is why they still work.
