Why is my car dying while I am driving down the road?

As I am driving down the road my car will just die. I lose power steering and power brakes. Once I pull over it will turn back over and start. Sometimes it sounds like the starter might be sticking when I try to turn it over to start. So I'll know it wont run right if it does that and I will turn it back off. Eventually it will start again but may die at any time driving.

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

This sounds like a failing or corroded electrical connection. Take it in to a auto parts store that offer free computer read out to help with the diagnostic. AutoZone is one that does it.

I use the middle grade of gas. Sometimes when you try to restart it, it sounds like the starter maybe sticks a little. When it does this I have to turn it back off because I know it will die again while driving.

The starter is there to start the car After that it does not come into play at all

It would have nothing to do with the car stopping

It may be the started is stuck

A service by a mechanic I be thinking will solve this issue and ask him/her to inspect the starter

You should get it serviced because block air filter could easly cause the issues you are having and that means not starting or very difficult to start

The engine is not getting enought air throught the air filter

It could also be the injector plugs
