The Panasonic Lumix DMC-G7 is an entry-level mirrorless interchangeable lens camera released in May, 2015. The camera has a 16MP resolution and is capable of 4K video capture. The model numbers are DMC-G7 in most of the world and DMC-G70 in Europe.

My SD card won't stay in!

My SD card doesn’t go in all the way and it won’t stay in. How can I replace the SD card slot?

SD card lock tab maybe source of the problem? Have you checked?

@propman Yes, I have. I’ve even tried other SD cards to make sure it’s not just mine.

@Chancei White If you have done a visual inspection and there is no obvious debris inside the slot, then opening up the camera is probably required to either do visual inspection of the holder, damage to the locking mechanism or replacement of the the sd holder. You can get an idea of what is involved by looking at the tutorials (they are non specific to your particular problem though) at:
