Replaced HD and now it want run smoothly

I replaced the HD months back, but the computer hasn’t been working right since we took it to the apple store and they said it was the hard drive, so I put the old hard drive back in it, and it worked fine. Still needed to upgrade the hard drive I ordered one from you guys thinking it probably has a more proven track record, but it is still doing the same thing on the hard drive from you. What am I missing???

Answer this question I have this problem too

Is this a good question?

The MacBook Air's use a SSD not a spinning hard drive. Can you tell us what drive you installed and what macOS version you are running.

I'm suspecting you installed an OWC Aura drive did you check the drives firmware for an update?

Can you tell us a bit more on what the system is doing thats not right.
