@morend error 0xC1 is a CRCM access error. Causes for this can be :

  • Ink cartridge failure
  • Holder Board Assy failure (CSIC Terminal failure/CR Contact Module failure)
  • Main Board failure
  • Cable disconnection

Start by checking on those. Most likely would be a failed ink cartridge. Could be the print head so check on this as well

I used to get the error 0xC1 on my Epson printer quite a lot when I first got it. At first, the problem seemed unknown, but after taking consultations from the experts, I came to know that it could happen due to mainboard failure or a problem with the cable connection. To resolve this problem on my device, I usually follow the following steps. You can also try them to fix the issue on your Epson printer.

  • The first step is to open the printer scanner.
  • Next, you should inspect the FFC cable connected to your device.
  • Then, you are required to reassemble your Epson printer.
  • Furthermore, check your system's mainboard.

If all these steps are unable to fix the 0xC1 error, then getting help from someone else could be a great option for you.
