toshiba tv 49l310u is the problem I'm having it's backlight flashes then shuts the tv off

anglubold could be an issue with either the back light array having failed or with the power board. Time to take the back off this TV and take a look at the boards for any obviously damaged components. Post some good pictures of what your boards look like with your question. You will need a multi meter to check the power to the LED back light as well as to the main board. Adding images to an existing question
