Found part on my Craftsman power-drive push mower deck. ID?

I found this part yesterday on the mowing deck of my 2-year-old Craftsman power-drive push mower. It’s plastic and about 3/4 of an inch in length. Can anyone ID it and, most importantly, tell me where it belongs?

Tried looking in the Owners Manual for an exploded view of the unit's parts. Might be able to trace it via the parts list that is usually included too. Just a thought.
