10 What part(s) should I buy to fix my Macbook screen?
quite a bit of water accidently got in the screen and now about 1/5th of my screen is brighter in the regions that the water travelled.
Of course, this looks horrendous as the rest of the screen is at normal brightness levels.
I don't think I should have to buy the whole $400 upper half of the laptop. I think that I will simply have to purchase the screen itself (about $120 on ifixit.com).
Am I correct in this assumption?
