Screen is black, computer runs

I had tried a lot of methods I’ve read, for example the ones where I need to remove the battery and hold the power button for several seconds, even minutes, also the F2 + power button and there’s still no response. I was able to connected to my TV. I read somewhere about going to system manager and deactivate the intel graphics. I did that and then i activated them again and I was able to see both screens. I unplugged the Tv did some work on my computer then turn it off. The next day, I turned the computer back on, and was the screen again black, I repeated the method, and it worked. I just feel unnecessary to repeat this process over and over again, does anyone has an idea what do I need to do

Are you remembering to save your changes if appropriate? Might also want to check your users manual to see if there is a function key toggle for switching between external and internal monitors.

If you can get a display signal to your TV then I’m pretty sure the laptop screen is almost completely dead.
