will early 2013 A1398 lcd screen fit an A1398 Mid 2014?

Early 2013 A1398 15” LCD Screen

Mid 2014 A1398 Topcase ,Motherboard etc

I’m pretty sure they’re the exact same size but will it fit? Wifi, bluetooth connectors camera connector hinges and all?

Sadly, no you can’t use a MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Mid 2012-Early 2013) Display Assembly in a Mid 2014 15” MacBook Pro MacBook Pro 15" Retina (Late 2013-Mid 2014) Display Assembly

While they look the same the displays ID will not allow the older display to work properly. You also have a different iSight camera.

Presently iFixit doesn't not have stock of the needed display. You might find TheBookYard UK - Retina MacBook Pro 15" Complete Display (13/14) : Refurbished might be an option for you.

I was considering buying an early 2013 display To replace a cracked 2014 MBP LCD.I thought they might be the same, but that confirms it won't work thanks …….Saved me some trouble and $$
