Help somebody! I cannot get into my LG phone!

MODEL # LGL62VL

I have an LG phone that belonged to my now deceased father-in-law. Since I do not know his email address or password I have been unable to get into this phone after I reset it. Does anyone know how I can get around this and start over with a new account?
