Hi,

You need to listen if you can hear if the evaporator fan in the freezer compartment is running or not when the compressor motor is running. It is behind a panel so you can’t see it.

The fan will stop when a door is opened and will start again when the doors are shut. You may have to put your ear against the fridge to hear it stop when you open a door and start again when you close the door.

If you can’t hear it at all then it may be a faulty fan or the fan may be iced up.

If it is iced up this prevents cold air being blown into the refrigerator to cool it down. The freezer will still be cold, because that’s where the evaporator unit which provides the cooling is located.

If it is iced up then this could be caused by a faulty defrost heater or defrost thermostat.

What is the make and model number of the fridge?

There is fan in the rear bottom by some coils that’s running. Is there another one somewhere else.

Hi,

What is the model number of the refrigerator?

As I said the fan is on the INSIDE of the fridge behind a panel in the freezer compartment so you can't see it until you remove the panel, but as i said above you may be able to hear if it is running or not.
