Fans on high after HD swap?

I swapped out the HD in my 21.5" 2.5GHz i5 from the factory 500Gb model to a Caviar Green 2Tb HD and the process went smooth with no issues at all. The next day after using the computer for very basic tasks such as email the fans came on high. I'm running OS X Lion and my HD temp is 92 degrees and ambient temp is 76 degrees. Any ideas on how to fix this?

You need a OWC In-line Digital Thermal Sensor for iMac 2011 Hard Drive Upgrade to prevent the run away fan issue: https://eshop.macsales.com/item/OWC/DIDI...

Mac World has an article all about the troubles that come with upgrading the hard drive in your iMac. In their test, they used a $10 program called HD Fan Control to set the fan speed manually.
