Hi @mihirdona ,

Try starting the laptop in safe mode and see if it boots OK.

Choose either safe mode with networking or try the Last known good configuration (advanced) option and see if that fixes it.

Hi @mihirdona ,

Have you got the Win 7 installation disc for the laptop?

If so try this

If you wish to save your data, it may be prudent to remove the HDD and connect it into another PC and then copy your data from it in there.

There are a lot of tutorials online about how to get data from a HDD in a dead laptop by putting it in another PC as a 2nd HDD

Might want to try booting into “Safe Mode” by pressing the F8 key immediately after the computer’s boot logo has appeared. You can then select from the various options that appear in the menu that is displayed. Sometimes just booting into Safe Mode and then trying a regular reboot again will prove successful in displaying your regular desktop. If that method is unsuccessful then continue troubleshooting via Safe Mode (for example, disabling or uninstalling any new software installs or devices that maybe a source of your problems, run tests on your hard drives etc).

Ohhh....if no luck with safe mode, might be an idea to grab a linux distro such as ubuntu and install it to a usb stick. Try booting from the usb stick to rule out the computer hardware as a problem source; this may also entail disconnecting your internal hard drive, ssd etc.

My laptop is not openimg in safe mode. It is not detecting safe mode and restarting it.

Try tapping the F8 key several times after the computer logo appears. FWIW, there is lots of information on the net (for example Google, Youtube etc) on how to access Safe Mode. As previously mentioned, if unable to access Safe Mode then seek troubleshooting solutions via a linux distribution such as Ubuntu or qualified repair shop.
