MacBook doesn't start on AC
Hi there,
my 2Ghz C2D Macbook doesn't start anymore. What happend is that my charger imploded during the charging process of the Macbook.
What I tried:
AC Yes / Battery No / Macbook => No :-(
AC No / Battery Yes / Macbook => Yes :-) / Charging => No :-(
AC Yes / Battery Yes / Macbook => Yes :-) / Charging => No :-(
What could be the problem? Logicboard? Megasafe Board? another connection?
UPDATE(!): Changed the Magsafe Board. Now it does work connected to AC or to a charged battery. But still not charging. So. I either use it on AC or on battery. But can't get the battery charged. Suggestions?
Is this a good question?

Didn't do anything till now. Should I try changing the adapter first?
Implosion:
My original Apple charger was broke and I bought several months ago another one on amazon for 29 EUR (non-apple). It worked well until 2 days ago. I plugged it in but the light didn't went amber. So I looked more carefully and recodnised that the charger looked weired (One black cable was looking out). I played with it (still plugged into AC and Macbook) and it just imploded (*bzzz* - *boom*). After calming down I went back to the macbook (I did jump to the other site of the room, after the *boom*) and checked if it started. But my battery was empty so I couldn't test it. Until today. I went to the apple service and tested it there.

I can't tell if you're talking about the MagSafe adapter or your MacBook. What was the result of your visit to Apple? Did they test the adapter? Did they test the Book?

First they connected the macbook with a charging cable and removed the battery. Macbook didn't start and no light indication. After that a fully charged battery was inserted and the Macbook unplugged from the charging cable. Macbook started as usual. Works. But OSX says Battery at 0%. Charging cable plugged in and no light indication. Macbook still runs on battery.
