Why can't I update my iPhone 6

My iPhone 6 has been having issues since I had it and restarts at random points, sometimes even going into a bootloop. Since I couldn’t update from iOS 9 wirelessly, I plugged in my phone to my PC and attempted to update it. However, I guess it went into a bootloop mid way and caused the phone to erase and not be able to load off any iOS software at all. I tried to update it from iTunes and 3u.com but it still runs into problems. Does this mean its bricked?

My computer is recognizing it only when the restore screen is showing. It’s just that since the phone restarts at random moments, it cuts off the process.

It might be a simple battery issue, if peak power provided is insufficient for the task the iPhone may easily reboot. Give it a check when you have 3Utools running, it will give you some insight about it.

I can’t check any iPhone info because it sticks to recovery mode and only shows the flash menu.

It seems that the phone is still recognized by a PC, right?

Any specific error from i tunes?

What is the OS in the PC? when you plugged the phone e.g if windows 10 it will try to trabsfer e.g photos to your PC from the phone.

Could be the PC is infected, run an antyi-virus.

After re-install iTunes, the latest if you don’t have it.

I suppose iTunes can see the phone. Have you try to do a complete restore?

Also call Apple (not an apple store) they can add some more help.
