Options

A/c compressor turning on and off repeatedly?

The system was rather cool but not cold like it was suppose to. I added some freon into the system and it didn't get colder, so I added another on and still, not cold. The compressor keeps turning on and off repeatedly.

What could be the problem?

Check for leaks. The repeatedly turning on and off is usually caused by not enough refrigerant in the system.
