failed wlan card utility test

i replaced my wireless card but stillfailed test.MY WIRELESS WORKS FINE AS LONG AS I AM CLOSE TO MY ROUTER.

SORRY I DID NOT KNOW ABOUT ACCEPTING ANSWER.CARD IS LISTED IN DEVICE MANAGER,AND I DID UPDATE THE DRIVER.I HAVE WINDOWS XP.MY ROUTER IS ACTIONTEC FROM VERIZON,FOR DSL.IT SHOWS I AM CONNECTED AS LONG AS I STAY CLOSE TO THE ROUTER.

Gayle, I thought it was fixed since you accepted the answer. That usually means that the issue has been resolved. Does your card show up in your device manager? Did you install the new driver? Does it show on your router? Did you reset your router? What OS do you have?

It is very possible the connectors came loose that connect to the wireless card,try reconnecting these to the motherboard to be sure they are secure and the wireless card

Or you can just check the wireless card if you do not feel brave enough to go any further
