What replacement screen will work in a Vodafone iPhone 4?

Hello everyeone,

Does anyone have experience working on a Vodafone Iphone 4 (UK)? I need to replace many of the screens on these and I need to know if there be any difference between these screens and those on an ATT version or Verizon version?

I have heard if there is a difference I can just swap the midframe with the one I'm replacing? I would like to avoid that as reusing midframes is a hassle and can come out looking ugly.

I haven't yet worked on ANY iphone 4's so I don't know. I have however fixed many ipod touches 1 through 4th gen and iphone 3G's and 3GS's.

Thank you in advance for any help you can provide

After working on two of them (and sorry for not getting on here sooner) I have found that the Vodafone Iphone 4 is a GSM. So if anyone out there is wondering I have answered my own question.

There are two differences between an AT&T iphone and a Verizon iPhone.

1. Slightly different hardware (internally)

2. Different mobile frequency

Both of these points are irrelevant to a screen replacement. In both versions the two connections (Digitiser/LCD) have stayed the same and will connect to either phone. Below are two images, one of a GSM iPhone (AT&T) and a CDMA iPhone (Verizon)

AT&T (GSM) Red and Orange boxes indicate the Digitiser and LCD Connections

Verizon (CDMA) Aqua and Blue boxes indicated the Digitiser and LCD Connections
