I split a drink on my MacBook Pro and it won’t turn on I opened it up thinking it was the logic board but it has no water damage. When I disconnect the battery and plug it in the green power light comes on but the computer does not turn on. I have no idea what is wrong how should I troubleshoot.

I had this problem too on my mid 2012 macbook pro, i did as you did opened it up and tried to dry it up but is would boot up, so i tried a few things but by disconnecting the keyboard from the motherboard, my computer successfully booted up via external keyboard. Try this.

Where did the water enter and exactly which machine do you have?

I have the 2015 model and it was spilt on the keyboard
