Phillips TV sound is on TV screen is pitch black

Hi I don't know what's going on with my TV I need help to fix my Philips TV I had it for a little while now but a few days ago it start doing nothing and just today the sound came on but there is no picture to screen is black there's no way I can see anything there's nothing there just a black screen and with some sound I can change the channel put the volume higher and lower but there is no picture

Peaches Urich  that will depend on your model. It could be a bad T-con board, bad main board or bad backlight. Let us know if you can see anything on the screen while shining a flashlight beam at an angle against the screen. Eventually you will have to take the back off your TV and take a look at the boards etc. So go ahead and post some good pictures of your boards with your question. That way we can see what you see. Adding images to an existing question
